Having mediated dozens of cases, Brenna Furness’ interest lies in mastering the mediation process for her clients. As a trained facilitative mediator, her approach keeps the parties and their interests at the center of the decision making process, letting them decide how the solution is crafted.

Brenna Furness is a proud second-generation Mexican-American, fluent in both Spanish and English, who marries her passion for people and her community with her legal knowledge. As a business owner for more than 15 years and a recognized pillar of her Ventura, CA community, Brenna has a deep understanding of business relationships, employee conflict resolution and customer relations. As a mother of four, one on the spectrum, she is a fierce advocate for Special Education students and has spent many years navigating the public school system and IEP process. Her extensive traveling has cultivated a passion rooted in intercultural communication, diversity, equity and community partnership. When viewed from a wider perspective, Brenna’s work as a mediator is a natural extension of the the work, familial and personal experiences that make up her life.

Brenna’s approach to problem-solving and client relations is open and honest. She has a personal approach that lacks any of kind judgement, instead opting for empowerment, encouragement and acceptance.
